OUR SERVICES
Caroline and Mike have managed Kentford since 2001 and worked with the stud's original owner for 10 years previously. Together, they have foaled 100's of foals and have a wealth of experience in this area of equine care. The stud provides large foaling boxes with CCTV monitoring. Well managed and maintained nursery paddocks for mares and foals. Large barns available for restrictive exercise.
The stud also offers a full weaning service, allowing foals to partner with same age young stock, young stock handling including grading preparation.
Kentford is able to provide AI and "walk in" service, working with Endell Equine Hospital. Kentford offers a calm and settled environment for receiving mares.

I highly recommend the service provided by Kentford after taking my mare there to have her foal. Mike and Caroline have extensive knowledge and many years of experience in foaling, meaning I had total confidence and trust in them throughout the entire process. They genuinely care about each and every horse and made the weeks/days prior to foaling stress-free. Kentford itself is located within a stunning setting. There are spacious fields for the mares and their foals and large foaling boxes with cameras and big beds. All the staff are welcoming and happy to assist when needed. I was fortunate enough to be there when my foal was born and was able to witness first-hand how calm and professional Mike is. I now look forward to watching my foal grow and develop over the next few years under the care and guidance of the Kentford team.

I would highly recommend Kentford Farm Stud to anyone seeking a knowledgeable & caring stud for foaling & livery. Caroline & Mike gone above and beyond our needs. We were unable to take our mare to the stud we had originally chosen. At very short notice Kentford kindly took in our mare. Caroline always kept in touch, which reassured me, knowing that my mare was in safe hands. After a successful foaling, I was so impressed with the service provided, that I decided to send my other mares to them for breeding. Kentford highly recommended Charlotte Thomas from Endell Equine Veterinary, who again has gone above and beyond our expectations. I cannot stress how happy I am to know that my horses are in their safe hands. The staff, Mike & Caroline are always to hand, so friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. They always go the extra mile. I never knew places such as Kentford Farm Stud existed! So lucky to have found these guys but sadly for them, they will be seeing us for years to come.
